The Women Dentists Network was founded as an opportunity to support women dentists to follow their passions, overcome challenges and excel at the forefront of all areas in dentistry.
Our Vision
Create and foster a professional environment within the dental sector that is fair, equitable and inclusive for all.
Our Aim
To help women dentists overcome their personal and professional challenges by providing a supportive, inclusive network and forum to address issues such as wellbeing, inclusion and career development.
Our Why
We are a group of female dentists who came together to encourage our colleagues and friends to aspire to be at the forefront of dentistry because we have experienced, first hand, the challenges in developing our careers amidst busy lives, gender biases and multiple demands on our resources.
We believe all women can embrace who they are,
can define their future, and can change the world.
How we do it
We have:

An active WhatsApp group for both the Women Dentists Network and a second for the Friends of the Women Dentist Network. Advice, support, recommendations, and general friendship are frequently shared amongst the group.

Three webinars on clinical, business and well being matters per year, that are applicable for verifiable CPD. These generally last for 3 hours and are held on a Sunday morning.

Three social events per year, such as afternoon tea, perfume making, Ladies Day at Ascot.

An annual conference, usually held at The Belfrey Hotel, Sutton Coldfield.
The webinars and WhatsApp group are included in the Membership fee; the social events are an additional cost.
